Upon successful completion of this course the attendee will be recognized as a Basic CDR Technician. |
CRASH DATA RETRIEVAL (CDR)
TOOL TECHNICIAN LEVEL 2 COURSE This course is best suited for field investigators, insurance investigators and adjusters, or those involved in vehicle documentation and examinations. This "extreme" hands-on training follows up on the training received in the CDR Technician Level I course. It offers individual or small group guided instruction in the following: ◊ In vehicle DLC data imaging ◊ Module location and identification ◊ Direct-to-module data imaging ◊ Practical booster and adaptor applications (ACM, PCM) ◊ "Back powering" airbag control modules to allow in vehicle DLC data imaging The instruction and subsequent hands-on approach combined with the evaluation by a Trainer/Mentor completes the CDR Technician Level certification. Attendees are not required to own the Bosch CDR System in order to attend this training, although it is strongly encouraged. Attendees that own a CDR System should bring a laptop computer with the most current version of the software installed. The instructor's computer and CDR System will be available for use by attendees for the required in-class imaging of various modules. |
